Welcome to Preloved Kidswear's very first blog post. We did say there were going to be big changes in 2012 and this is one of them.

We all know how expensive kids clothes are (unless you shop with Preloved Kidswear that is) and I often wonder why some people don't take more care when washing their clothing. Admittedly I am a cleaning freak, I read the care instructions and if they suggest dry clean only, that's what I do. Thank goodness kids clothes don't often have that care label attached.

I know that today we are all time poor, so it seems easier to wash them and then dump them in the dryer. Really though you are wearing out your clothes and doing harm to the environment.

We recommend that you read the care instructions prior to washing, they are there for a reason after all. It is also better to line dry rather than tumble dry, this prevents pilling in most cases and has the added bonus of saving you money on electricity costs, on the rise yet again!

Over the next series of blog posts we will share some stain removing tips that might come in handy.

Ciao
